About Kimberly

A Human Resources professional for over 25 years, Kimberly Searfoorce holds a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, as well as a BA in English from the University of Colorado Boulder.

After law school, Kimberly focused exclusively on employment law for the first eight of her twenty years at an employer’s association. After that, she shifted her focus to leadership development and effective communication. Kimberly presents to audiences of all sizes and fields on a variety of topics including employment law, conflict resolution, trust, and assertiveness, with a strong focus on bias and inclusion.

A member of the Colorado Bar, Kimberly is also a coach and a workplace mediator. She is a certified Enneagram in Business and What type of Leader Are You? trainer. Kimberly brings a nuanced lens to employee relations and compliance challenges resulting in fewer workplace legal concerns.

An intermittent marathoner and zealous Chicago Cubs fan, she is the mother of three humans and two canines, Wrigley and Sydney.

Testimonials

Evan Abbott

Kimberly is a “triple threat” – a wicked smart attorney, an intuitive talent facilitator, and a genuinely good person. When she joined our team of Organizational Development and Learning Consultants, I counted myself as the luckiest Director at Employers Council. Kimberly possesses a unique ability to connect with people while exploring pragmatic, human-focused solutions to organizational issues.

I have known Kimberly as a colleague, collaborated with her on projects and now confidently refer my own clients to her. She uniquely blends two distinct intelligences in the work she does: her head and her heart. She evaluates situations from a systems perspective and identifies the complexities that may be informing and influencing them. Her evaluative skills are partnered with deep compassion and understanding. Kimberly’s blended approach provides insightful guidance and impactful results. She sees the best in others, adeptly highlights their strengths and encourages their potential.

Kimberly is my entrusted partner for delivering impactful and engaging learning experiences for the employees of Liberty Media and Las Vegas Grand Prix. She has earned an impressive reputation among employees for taking the blandest of legal content and turning it into insightful, memorable, and fun instruction. She is both an exceptional facilitator and employment law attorney (a unique find) and this affords her the ability and credibility to adapt training to meet our various learner needs throughout the organization. On a personal note, she is warm, professional, witty, and fun. Kimberly has earned my highest recommendation.
